How to Replace the Filter in Your Melaure Showerhead
Maintaining your Melaure Filtered Showerhead is essential for enjoying cleaner, healthier water. Replacing the filter regularly helps maintain optimal performance and ensures the best shower experience for your skin and hair.
Why Replace the Filter?
Filters naturally collect impurities, chlorine, sediment, and contaminants over time. Replacing the filter helps maintain water quality, performance, and product lifespan. For optimal results, we recommend replacing your filter every 2-3 months depending on water quality and usage.
What You'll Need
- New Melaure replacement filter
- Soft towel or cloth
- Optional rubber gloves
Step-by-Step Instructions

Turn Off the Water Supply
Before beginning, ensure the water is completely turned off to prevent any leaks or water flow during the replacement process.

Unscrew the Bottom of the Showerhead
Gently twist the bottom section of your Melaure showerhead counterclockwise to remove it. Use a soft cloth if you need extra grip.

Remove the Old Filter
Carefully pull out the used filter cartridge from the housing. Dispose of it properly according to local recycling guidelines.

Inspect the Housing
Check the filter housing for any debris or buildup. Wipe it clean with a damp cloth to ensure optimal performance.

Insert the New Filter
Take your new Melaure replacement filter and insert it into the housing, ensuring it sits securely and evenly.

Reattach the Bottom Section
Screw the bottom section back onto the showerhead by turning it clockwise. Make sure it's hand-tight but not over-tightened.

Test for Leaks
Turn the water supply back on and check for any leaks around the connection points. If you notice any drips, gently tighten the connection.
